(this is the shortcut you have to creatae and add all the extra stuff after the location of the DS executable. In order to solve this problem i changed where it says "Hyperborea" to "mageworld". also change "lands of hyperborea" to "mage world" since folders you had to create in the were called mageworld and not hyperborea or lands of hyperborea. I think there might be a .1 after the zip, remove that then you can get into it. Definitely enjoying the experience ;) I note a little frustration with some aspects :) And that's just the EULA, folks. I am guessing, if I remember rightly, the effects of bitter past experience are being reflected in the EULA, besides no one can mistake the type of gaming experience they are entering before they start. Jun 29, 2005 01:13PM PDT Kinda late on the draw, but you're supposed to create a new folder for Mageworld. You then put the .dsres and .dsmap, and the readme, and create a shortcut. That shortcut should also be in the .rar archive. You may have to modify the folder, but don't mess with anything else or you'll screw it up. If you want an interesting story, a great challenge and something completely different from regular DS then Mageworld just may be the game you're looking for... It's not for everyone, but I liked it! From the very beginning, the super-anal EULA **ASSUMES** you are a no good cheater who likes to finish games in 5 minutes, along with a bunch of other non-flattering assumptions, and then it attacks those assumptions, talking down at you from a high horse, telling you how the game can't be played. And that's just the EULA, folks. The creator's strong opinions can be felt through the entire game experience, like he wants you to get frustrated if you happen to not agree with them. I thought this was a mod for a game, not flamebait! Anyway, go ahead and try it, but I can assure you -- you will get frustrated with it at some point. The author seems to want you to. Posted By: Xaa Mar 09, 2005 05:17PM PST Walk outside the inner sanctum. There is a lever there. Throw the lever. The inner gate opens. Walk inside the tunnel, and go either left or right. Ride the elevator to the top of the gate, and throw the lever to open the outer gate. go back down, exit the castle, head north, the quest log will update and tell you what to do.
