For those who know what this thread is about, comments are welcome. For those who don't, read another thread. I'm not interested in explaining what I'm doing over and over and over again for each new person that notices the thread.

First, we start with a concept:

Next, we cobble together a preliminary mesh, skeleton, and temporary texture in Siegemax.

Then, we slap together a basic animation file and a quick template, and see how it looks in-game.

Unfortunately, it looks like this:

Looks like she'd be an interesting charactor to play Xaa... ^_^

Hope you can get her working!

We go back to SiegeMax and re-build the mesh. More pics if I manage to get beyond the "My Little Pretzel" stage.

Keep at it Xaa!

We all have faith in you Xaa.... ;)

We know that somehow, someway, someday you will get "Your Little Pony" past the "Your Little Pretzel" stage.

I see what your gettin at now, should look real good when it's done. Now I know why it looked a bit like a packmule. The pic of the preliminary mesh isn't very clear so to me it looked a bit like it had donkey teeth.

This brings up an interesting concept. If and when you get it working, it would seem to be a cool idea to be able to cast some sort of transformation spell on your packmule turning them into this "My Little Pony" anthropomorphic horse dealy thing creature. Thus, enabling your packmule to become a regular fightin' member of your roaving death squad. :P Just a thought.

Look at the first picture, with the horse-girl with the sword.

Does she REALLY look like she wants to carry your luggage?

That's not a packmule, a bell-boy or any other kind of simple servant. That's a player-character.

Actually, it kinda looks like the demi-god-like hero type. You gotta admit this is a strange departure from previous DS concepts. Though, I would be all for it if you move forward with a mod containing the Demi-God Horse...aka My Little Pony!!

Skinning a mesh in Gmax is like pulling your own teeth with a rusty pair of pliers.

Only not as fun.

A WELL HOOTERED HORSEBABE IN A THONG?????? (damn glad i aint a Gelding :P )

As this is already moving off of what Xaa started this thread to be, I have just deleted all posts after this one, which is off topic as well, but I will let you have one.
